Wiper issue
The windshield wiper pivot on the drivers side on my 73 is stripped where the arm slides on. I’ve bought a new set of arms tried the new one it will not stay on for even one cycle. Question is where can I find a new one I’ve scoured all the parts places but can’t find one. Am I not looking for the right part? Any one have any suggestions or do I have to buy used?

Is the inside of the wiper arm stripped? or is the wiper shaft that the arm goes on stripped? If the wiper arm is stripped, just replace the arm. If the shaft is stripped, you'll need a new wiper transmission, as it's called. Not sure where to get a new one. Try some of the vendors on here like Zip, Wilcox, etc. I'm not familiar with doing this job on our cars, but I had to do it on my son's Tiburon and it was about an hour job and not too involved. His stripped because he was too lazy to clean the ice and snow off the windshield before turning on the wipers.
