Right now I have a 2000 Camaro V6 but I am familiar with vettes and have grrown up around them. My dad has had a few but sold them over the years. If you visit my web site and look at the more images in our photo page and under painting http://www.huntsvillebodyandseatcover.com/page4.html
You can see his old 74 stingray L-82 I think it was he had to sell it because I was bing born back in the early 80's. But he had a 77 that I can remember back in th early 90's. I am currently looking for a 68-77 Stingray project car. I want to recreate my dads old vette. I have a project 1963 Rambler American 400 if any one is interested and also a project 1934 Ford Tudoor sedan if interest in a trade maybe I kinda want to make the Ford a monster street rod.
Now how the hell does a 16-19 year old afford a Vette? I know you live at home thus no bille i.e. rent/ utilities/ adult responsibilities etc. But still back then the best I had was a 70 Cuda and that was ratty. Rich parents? Well good for you. Not meaning or intending to say your spoiled...just curiuos.
