It's leaking. I already eliminated it on the engine side. Anybody know the thread size so I can replace with it a pipe plug from the local hardware store?

I think it is 1/2. I would suspect the shifter end is leaking before that switch though being its all nasty with oil.

Perhaps little at the shifter, but most of the oil leak is from the TCS switch. That's why I would like to replace it ASAP.

I don't think it's a pipe thread - pretty sure it's straight thread and that the fitting seats/seals/bottoms out on a sealing surface to assure that the fitting is installed at a consistent and pre-set depth so the switch operates correctly inside the tranny. I could be wrong, but you better check it and verify before you screw up the threads in the tranny with a pipe plug.

Lars is right. A little more research on my part shows it is 9/16-18 straight thread. Check this out to plug the hole. https://5speeds.com/cart/index.php?r...product_id=192
