Car runs so smooth. Ran 230 hp on the chassis dyno but pulls constantly at high RPM. No problems with the install. However the small fitech computer’s placement in the cabin is important.
pro tip - have somebody push the throttle while you watch to make sure its opening all the way, make sure your air cleaner base is on when you do it. My linkage was hitting the air cleaner base not allowing full throttle.
Thanks. I’ll check on that fuel line. The air cleaner had to be modified to fit. I’ll check that also. Not a great set up but ok for right now. The tank came from tanks inc. got the in tank fuel pump version. My tank was trash so I went with the better unit.
I got an aluminum base for a 14 inch and modified it by adding a dimple with a BFH to clear the passenger rear corner of the FiTech. You’ll also see that I used 90 degree fittings on mine to clear the air cleaner base.
FiTech really didn’t help us out with their design, it is not drop base air cleaner friendly. That’s really my only complaint. What you see above clears my small block C2 hood by 1/4 inch
