Rear Ride Height
1. Measure the frame from four points. Measure frame to ground on front frame left and right, also rear frame to ground left and right. Rear spot is easier as there is a flat spot. If left and right are good, ie frame is level, then look at body mounts.
2. If the frame is not equal both sides, the issue could be a number of things. Front springs, frozen shock(s).
My frame height was off one once left to right. Since I recently replaced all front and rear suspension parts, and and the rear spring out, we loosened all front control arms so the relaxed, then reversed the rear spring - meaning we took it off turned it left to right and put it back on. Now I'm down to 1/4 inch.
If you just bought the car it's hard to say. Suspect front springs as well, but I would ask the PO what recent work has been done, etc.
Also a trick to see if the front springs are an issue: put the car on a level surface, jack the front up so both wheels are off the ground. Put jack stands that are equal height on front frame in same spot left to right, lower car on jack stands so front wheels are still hanging - takes the springs out of the equation. If the back is level, you know where the issue is.
Let me know what you find out.
