I got a new water pump for the 383 stroker I'm installing. It didn't come with the nipple to connect the heater or the plug that goes in the top. What are sizes for those? Links to them would be super helpful also!
pump in BP link is almost certainly a standard short pump and shows .625" (5/8") OD pilot
There's a standard short pump ... and a corvette short pump ... corvette short is a bit longer than standard short
All too often mistakenly swapped ... result is corvette pulleys & belts will fit but Never align or perform properly ... constant headaches!
Also, the standard short pump's pilot that extends into fan clutch ... often are too small OD for vette ... vette usually 3/4" OD and others often 5/8"
you can remedy with shims & bushing ... but why? ... suggest do it right first time & be done with it ... verify exactly what pump you have & need.

The big hole in the top of the pump is 3/4-14 pipe (minor diameter is .974 or 59/64). The heater hose nipple threads are 1/2-14 pipe thread (minor diameter is .763 or 45/64).
If you need the 90-degree fitting in the top hole for an L79 intake manifiold, you have to use a 2-piece pipe bushing to reduce it down to 1/2-14 pipe with the 90-degree fitting.
If it were me ... and in a hurry ... I try a local NAPA etc ... know your measured requirements.
If it were me ... Not hurried ... I'd get and ensure correct PN's ... and shop web.
Yeah, I’m at summit right now but I don’t need the pump yet, still getting the transmission rebuilt. Thanks everyone for the info, I’m gonna wait and get the right one.

As noted in my post #9, the heater hose nipple threads are 1/2-14 pipe. But the big hole in the top, if you get the pump with that provision, is 3/4-14 pipe.
