I noticed that on my center 2 bolts on my intake manifold I have very small accumulation of oil.
Car runs normal.
Does the intake manifold gasket needs changing? I tried to torque it down a bit but the bolts are quite snug as it is.
The car is 71 L48 with stock heads and Performer manifold and Lars quadrajet.
Also I have these Edelbrock gaskets at home for some years now. Should I use them or go Fel-pro with exhaust crossover blocked?
Also how do these rockers look to you more experienced guys?

Whoever installed the intake manifold failed to seal the bolt threads. You don't need a new gasket - you just need to remove the intake manifold bolts, clean them up, and put some sealant on the threads before reinstalling them.

Permatex #2 is good, but you can use any silicone gasket sealant on the threads with the same good results. Just a dab of silicone on the threads and snug the bolts back in. No problem.

Not understanding what the "popcorn" is for. I didn't argue that the Permatex #2 is not good. But if you don't have it on hand, and happen to have some silicon-based gasket sealer, you can use it with equally good results to seal non-pressurized bolt threads.
That’s just me “lurking” to learn. No offense intended. I’m here a lot trying to learn as I go. It’s actually easier (less clicks) to post the popcorn than to click to subscribe to a thread.
