Holley 834 Fuel Pump
I am needing to change the outlet position on this fuel pump. Does anyone know what is involved in moving the outlet position. I know there are about 6 screws on the bottom of the fuel pump that separate the upper half and the lower half. Is it just as easy as removing these screws and moving the lower half around to where I need it? If I remove these screws, are the guts of the fuel pump gonna go everywhere? The pump hasn`t been used yet so it is still gas free so no problems with fuel going everywhere.
I don`t know where my instructions went to for this pump so I am SOL on that. So I came to my best source of info. What do you guys know.

Re: Holley 834 Fuel Pump (Eddie 96)
Just to let everyone know, I don`t know if it is like this with all Holley fuel pumps, but all you have to do is just remove the screws on the bottom of the pump and rotate it to where you need it. Put the screws back in and plumb it up.
I had never torn into one before so I thought I would ask. After thinking about it I just looked at it and said what the heck, it cant be all that bad. Nothing came flying out at me and all that anxiousness(?) was wasted.
Piece of cake.
I had one of these backed when I was carbed. Don't want to sound negative, but man what a piece of crappola those pumps are. I rotated mine like you did and 4 threads where stripped. The housing is the cheapest pot metal I've seen and really thin where the threads are. I had to get longer screws and use nuts to hold it together. Then after a few months engine oil started leaking from the pump.

Re: Holley 834 Fuel Pump (zwede)
I'm using that pump too. Sorry I didn't see your post last night Eddie. I had to rotate mine too. I've had it on about a year now with no problems. Unlike Zwede's, my old pump was leaking oil and the Holley solved that problem. Maybe it was just a bad gasket.
