It's supposedly not too bad. I am going to do mine one of these days, just have not had the time. Doug Roe's book on Quadrajets is great. You can either pick it up from an online book retailer, or local speed shops. It's by HP Books.

There is a ton of books on Holley out there. Go to the local library and check some out to get an idea of which one is best for you. Then go to the Summit catalog and order the video on Holley Perforamnce and Power Tuning. Between the two you will learn a lot to rebuilt and tune. Also, the the FAQ's and get Lars paper on Holley's.
