After getting a wider size tire I noticed that I had leek by the power steering pump. I wiped down the area and found that the pump is not the source of the leek. I havent been able to find the source of the leek, any suggestions on what it could be?
I find that in general, Leeks are vegetables    But seriously folks...
Dont rule out a 'leak' at any of the connections on the back of the ps pump as well as pinhole 'leaks' in the pressure hose which can spray fluid everywhere. I have had 'leaks' in just about every part of the PS system and they are all a PITA.
If you look at the control valve, you will see metal tubing that comes off of your rubber "power steering hoses". You may have bent one of the metal lines. The previous owner of my 77 put wider tires on it, and it was leaking when I bought it. It looks like the wider tires could have been the problem. If your control valve is not leaking then all I would do is tighten you fittings. If they still leak then maybe some new power steering hoses. After I bought a rebuilt control valve, and I made sure that my fittings were tight, my system stoped leaking.
:smash: :smash: :seeya
I would de-grease the entire area that is affected, then watch for signs of a wet spot. You could also take note of the drip where you park it so you could kind of get close to the area in question. Keep in mind that while the engine is running everything has a tendancy to be blown towards the rear of the car a little.
