I need a schematic or drawing to show relays added if needed or how to make my 79 pwr windows have one touch down operation. Like on newer cars. Can anybody help please.

Express windows are controlled by a separate module (and on newer import the switch is different as well, has a detent for moving the window a little and then full after that
The ones I have (not installed right now) were from an early 90s (1992-1995ish) Ford Taurus since they have it separate and not built into the motor / body control module
Aftermarket there are (were) some around on ebay/aliexpress

Only thing to keep in mind is they old motors like ours were way more powerful (amp wise) than these were designed for, so careful when dead-heading them

Rewire the switches to use relays for their own up/down and they down so fast it's like one touch, seriously.

nycti , I don’t suppose you have a schematic or sketch of wiring to go this. I have read where it’s done but no pics or details. I can mount the extra relays easy enough and run the wire but what lands where is the prob.
thanks again for all the help.

I do, somewhere have to search. I believe their is a Wilcox drawing that shows how to do it with the factory wiring. My car is far from stock and my wiring is an AAW harness. So I'm not the best example

Yep- Ernie at Wilcox graciously let me modify his drawing and add the relays.

As far as the relays- these are the ones to get- Rockauto has the really good Bosch ones at about the same price as the Chinese junk relays-
