Guys,
adding the CVF serpentine kit on my 350 and added the accessories for it too. My question involves the ac. What do I do about the stock drier? It appears to have four lines go to/coming out total. My mechanic says to replace it but everything that matches is for R-12. Need some big help! Thanks!!!

As far as I know, the drier doesn't know which refrigerant it is using.
Are you referring to the VIR unit? If so, get rid of that damn thing and update the system.

How do I do that? Is there a kit? I guess the drier and VIR are the same. Was going to replace it but it’s $275 for the factory one and claims only for r-12
Yes kits are available... I used a kit from Classic Auto Air in Tampa, FL on my '73 recently, other versions are out there as well.
Do a search on VIR Eliminator Kit. (The VIR was designed to work with R12 and is not really 134 friendly) there is good info available
on the system update.
Seems like my kit was around 600.00 but that included a new compressor and brackets as well.
