Probably how the guy with the red car got scammed. I get these attempts all the time . The scumbags sent an e-mail for something you are trying to sell. They say i love your item & they will pay full price & addf 50 or a hundred $ if you will hold it until their check arrives . They send way over $$$ & tell you to give the extra to thbe movers they ask you to quick deposit the check & they tell you its a casheirs ck so it clears immediately. People fall for it & a week later your bank sends you back the bounced ck & they have the item & the extra $ the seller has a fake ck. They will never talk to you on the phone only e-mails
