Default Carburetor - Guidance Required

C3 1970 454 fitted with Holley R6211-1

Kindly have a look at the attached carburetor picture attached and comment on;
(a) Which outlet (2,or 3) is it best to use to connect the vacuum pipe to distributor advance/retard to and is the unused one then just capped off?
(b) Which outlet to connect to the driver side rocker/valve cover vent PCV valve, (this was connected to the back one (4) with front one left un-capped), but in most photos I have seen it appears the front outlet (1) is used with (4) capped-off

Kind regards
Paul

Use manifold vacuum for your vacuum advance. To do this, you "T" into the line connected to the choke pulloff - the port is in the carb baseplate on the forward passenger side. If you need to pass emissions testing, use ported vacuum. This is usually port #2 on most Holleys. PCV is connected to any 3/8" manifold vacuum nipple in the carb baseplate - the stock location is the forward large baseplate port. The large rear port is used for power brakes.
