Borgeson install. dumb question
Just starting the install... 68 Vette power steering
With this kit do I simply discard the factory power piston?
Ya know.... But my next question will be really good?

I wouldn't just throw it out... you could sell it.
But yes, Its not used when converting to Borgeson.
You removed the assist ram and convert the end of the relay rod with parts from the kit.

I did my 68 manual to Borgeson power steering.... I do the happy dance every time I drive the car.... I removed the idler shock from the manual system. Works GREAT.... ! The only issue I had was to figure out what pulleys to use, and aligning them. The cast iron double pulley on the pump is a good start.. Depends on your options.
