dash pads
I'm looking at a vendor on ebay that sells leather covers for various cars and I have a 69 but this vendor only has these covers for 71-76. What is the difference between the lower dash pads on a 69, 70, 71? I don't see anything except for some stitching around the bags.

Not much difference...if anything. As mentioned, '68 lower dash pads are unique, as there is an ignition key switch on the driver's side and no map pocket on the passenger's side. But, I believe that all years with similar dash pieces ('68-'77?) will interchange. That'll work on the passenger side, but leaves an empty hole on the driver side...
