I have my dash disassembled and am rebuilding it. Upon disassembly, I noticed that one of the buckets for the gauge is blue and the other is light green. I thought BOTH were supposed to be light green or are they supposed to be different? Or, is the blue one from a different year?
My 68 Speedo was slightly different shade of bluish/green from the my 76 Tach. Just my info.

1968 would have used the light green color for the metal cans, you can guy what is called "Jade" green and it will be very close in color. However both should be the same color and if they are not, you'll end up with one gauge being brighter then the other.
'68-71 gauges had light green numbers on the dial faces. '72 and later had white numbers. The color of the buckets was selected to enhance those numbers.
Completed the buckets. The color is close, but nobody will see it. The buckets were glass beaded, inside painted and then the entire thing flat cleared.
