Advice on Window Regulator Rollers
Hello all, I'm hoping to get some advice on whether my window regulator rollers are worn out or not.
The ones that came out of my car (74, manual windows) are intact but roll very easily and tilt/wobble side to side very easily.
However they are still very well attached to the post and show no signs of wanting to pop off and are otherwise undamaged.
I experimented with one of the rollers and used the method found in this thread, https://www.corvetteforum.com/forums...r-my-71-a.html
The new roller was quite tight on its' post. However when I popped it off and put it on my existing post, it is now just as loose as the original roller was.
Should these rollers be tight on the post? specifically in the tilt/wobble directions, not just the rolling direction on the post.
