While I am waiting for a wire diagram could someone tell me which wire (hookup position or color) is the power wire to the switch. I am assuming it runs from the fuse block to the switch with no other components in between. I downloaded the schematics that were posted but they are t blured to read. When I tested for power at the switch I didn't find any. Does anyone know the correct headlight high beam bulb number. Thanks
On an a/c car, it appears the brown wire goes into the function control switch (The panel with all the heater controls) and then goes out brown to the blower resistors. The function control switch appears to have a yellow wire that comes out of it and into the switch.
Hi Bobchad
Thanks for the reply. I copied your scans but am unable to read any text on them. My car does have a/c but it is not working due to a bad condensor. I am not sure why there is no power at the blower switch at all. Today I am gong to jump a wire to the blower motor to see if it will run.
I have found that the best way to deal with these scans is to download them to your computer and then use an image editing program to blow them up to the point that they are readable.
I see an orange wire maybe 14 ga. and a brown wire 14 ga. that go from the switch to the fuse box. Use a 12v test light to see if these are hot. Check the fuse and make sure there isn't any corrosion on the clips that hold the fuse. Tom
