Re: Another ebay freak! (Fevre)
Never ceases to amaze me how you can take one of best lookinig cars of all time and say " Gee I think it needs another air dam or spoiler or two "
oh cmon, that car looks awesome.
I always loved those body kits, and hood, spoilers, front end, need diff healights, and top but, overall I would love to start with that car.
I wish I could find whoever still sells that body kit.
A friend of mine did that to his car 10-12 years ago. He did it wild, and while not practical it did make for an awesome show car and was in many magazines took Super Chevy show editors choice and best of show in West Palm Beach FL. I wouldn’t do, but I've seen worst. My .02
Well I was driving her. Then I blew out the seal in the power steering piston 2 weeks ago, and I just got the complete polyurethane bushing kit. So she'll be off the road for awhile. Hopefully though I'll have a much better car once it starts to warm up again.
I think I saw you pulling onto Wickham not too long ago. Your paint looks awesome. :yesnod:
Bummer on the pwr steering. I work on Dow rd off Ellis so yeah you probably did see me over there. I still need to wet sand and buff the car. I have some orange peel in the clear. (I got carrier away). I am going to get the 79 on the road first so I can get to work.
I think this car needs to round off all the hard corners. The problem with this look is the mix of smooth curves of the C-3 ending in hard sharp corners of the kit....If they had kept the corners rounded and flowed them into the smooth curves of the C-3, this would be a pleasant looking car......Just my humble opinion.... :seeya Pimp Daddy Cappy :D
i've always liked that kit, i saw it in my dad's old corvette magazine, the bright yellow daytona vette owned by the guy that owned ecklers cant remember his name right now, but it had twin turbos and looked real nice imo. the back i will agree with you guys, it looks pretty bad but think the front looks real nice any ways my oppinion will differ cause im only 16 but this kit was made in the 80's so it should appeal to the middle age guys and gals too.
