Not factory...how could you alarm the vehicle as you depart if the switch is on the console? I mean it could be an alarm of sorts but not for the typical intent of the factory alarm system. It could be an ignition cut-off switch that is, if the vehicle is entered, then power is off. Its not exactly a "secret" switch given its location.

No clue, but think if it were GM, it would have a connector with all the wires in it. Wiring looks aftermarket, and switch looks like a push up, it does something, push down it does something else. Perhaps power antenna up/ down?
Traced the wires to the power antenna....that doesn't work.....I'm assuming was to raise and lower the antenna separate from wiring it to the aftermarket radio.
