Been looking at paint jobs to chopped Top's. Top chop hard to make look like anything always look bad from the sideview. Seen maybe one that looked good. Any pictures of it done right, I can always just set on the floor. Lol
I think if the roof height were left alone and you pulled the front windshield frame forward making it two inches longer at the roof line, 4 inchs at the base of the windshield for a better more modern angled windshield and then flush mounted it. Would improve the looks and the areo slightly. Then have some new side windows made for it.
The chopped top looks great, but I can't imagine driving it.
At 6'2" I can't imagine chopping the top. I already hit my head on top when I hit a dip in the road with the top on.
But that Godzilla Corvette!!!!! Now we're talking a fun build!!!!

leg room in c2 and c3 vettes pretty good. C1 no leg room. Just take the seat out set on the floor. Or better yet do one of those GT 40 6 4" dan gurney bubbles in the roof when you chop it. When I had my 73 guy I worked with had an MG midget asked if I wanted to go to lunch with him. Big mistake he was short guy. I learned I wont be owning any midgets. Just one of those cars get in your fetal position before you try to get in the door.

Remember the movie burt reynolds and 7 2" Richard keel did called gator where keel was driving I think it was a mark 5 continental with the moon roof open and his head out the roof. Roof height no problem on any C3 as long as not raining. Lol
