Can anyone confirm that F-body 1998-2002 headers fit a C3 with a LS? I’ve read on different forums that they will but never got it confirmed nor have I seen any pictures.
This was C3’s with steeroids rack.

I bought flea bay 2015 Camaro short headers for my conversion. It cleared everything, including my steering box, but not my 700R4 bell housing. I had to trim about an inch. Also the Camaro headers come very close to the firewall, but hasn’t been an issue. I’m thinking about trying C5 headers.
Thanks a lot both of you. I haven’t seen the LSX directory before but that’s a great help. I’ll go for the Fbody headers.
Any inputs of the Speed engineering headers quality?
I have Speed Engineering headers on my 68 C10 LS swap. Stainless 1 3/4" long tubes. They make mid-length also.
They fit well. They don't leak. Bought Fel Pro header gaskets. Good spark plug clearance. The bottom of the collector is even with bottom of the transmission. The stainless is pretty light. Cylinder head flange is 3/8" thick.
This will be the third summer for them and they look to be holding up well. I think they were $269 shipped.
I hate buying China made stuff but I just couldn't justify a $800-$1200 US made set.
The way they fit my C10 I bet they would fit a C3.I don't know their return policy but it might be worth a try.

BeeJay, I have a set of C5 headers, they pinch right behind the engine since there's no transmission in the way, I think they'd take a good bit of fab work.
If you manage to get 'em to work, I'll be following along since I have an LS6 to put into her '78.
