Driveshaft balancing
Where corvette driveshafts balanced in 1969? The shaft is pretty short so I am not sure it is required or make much difference. Either mine wasn't or it has thrown the weight.

Yes the driveshafts were balanced. After 30+ years the weights might be long gone. I would have it rebalanced. The half shafts are not balanced due to much lower rpm then the driveshaft
