Default '71 Stingray Tire Conundrum

I am currently running 235/70/R15 Goodyear Eagle GT 2 w/factory wheels on my '71 Stingray LS5. I am thinking about going to a slightly wider rear tire, but I do not know what the best tire setup would be on the car w/o any modifications. I want to go with raised white lettering as well. What is the best setup in your opinions? Thank you for any help.

245-60/15 is the perfect size for factory rally wheels.

255/60 fit my 71 with any rubbing issues and fits the wheel wells just a little bit better imo.

I'll suggest 255/60/15 on the back and 245/60/15 on the front.
When I had 255's on the front they rubbed at full lock on the steering, not so with the 245's

PO put 235/60/15 on my 71 LS5. To me they appear too small in the wheel well.

I'll go with "sstocker31" I run the same 255 on back and 245 on front, no problem...
