Default Oil pan replacement advice needed

I have a 69 L46 350/350 engine block that was stroked to 383
I may need a new oil pan for it and was wondering if anyone could give
me an exact replacement model that would fit. I know they had different
size oil pans for different horsepower engines and for the corvette

Thanks
Glenn in San Diego

In 1969 the oil pan was a 5 quart pan including filter capacity. Look at the Corvette vendors to insure you get a Corvette pan.

Kinda pricey but Moroso makes one that will work for a 383: Moroso 21812

https://www.jegs.com/i/Moroso/710/21812/10002/-1

I have the similar version (21811) on my 383 but mine is for a later block with a passenger side dipstick and one piece rear main seal.

Most, not all, most 383 will work with OE vette pan.
If you can attach Ipan at 4 corners withOUT a gasket, ... then roll motor thru By Hand a couple revs ... if it rods don't tap pan...
... then you know you'll be ok. If so, pull pan back off and install with gasket.

I’m not sure if they make the exact pan you are looking for, but check out Champ oil pans.
Very nice, quality built, right here in the USA.

I'm running a Champ pan in the 69 with a stroked SBC. 6 QT capacity, nice oil pan. T

You should be able to use the stock pan. Zip has a service replacement pan and a correct reproduction pan for more $$ if you want to go that route. The oil pump pickup is different depending on what pan you use.

What side is the dipstick on?
I run a stock LT-1 style pan with trap door on my 406....but it is a 72' block....so drivers side dipstick.
After 1980 the dipstick was moved to the passenger side....but an 80-81-82 pan will work there.

Not sure. I would think that Moroso has one that will work for you but you'll probably have to call them to know for sure. They do have a lot of pans listed on their website.

That pan seems to have all the extras you could want and the price is very nice.
