With flares... 10" minimum. I run 9.5" rear wheels with no flares on my '71. If I had another 2" to work with, I'd be using all of it. FWIW, I run 4.9" backspacing and the only modification is the e-brake cable bracket has been moved to the top of the stock trailing arm. I run 8.5" wide on the front with 4.5" backspacing.

Yes, those will easily clear the e-brake with no modification. 4" BS means they will stick further out, not in, so you will be fine with inside clearance. I don't know how wide your flares are and if you want the wheel/tire tucked inside or not. That would be the next question for you... and only you can take the measurements to see.

Seeing your pic now... are the wheels on it 8" wide with 4" BS?

10" in back, 8.5" in front, no spacers or mods. The Vectors fit perfect.

My guess is 12s with 4" BS will be a little wide, unless you don't mind them sticking outside the fender some.

With 15 inch wheels, I don’t think you can go anymore than 4.25 inch backspace on the front.

Which tires would you put on 15x12 wheels? And the front?
