I am about to pull the trigger on a replacement carpet kit. I am looking at the kits from Willcox, and Factory Interiors. I understand there are essentially only two carpet manufacturers in ACC and Knoch, correct?
Factory Interiors pricing is around $430 shipped for the complete loop material set with mass backing including padding. The Willcox kit includes the complete loop material carpet kit with the padding sold separately. It appears the padding has some sort of backing material on it as well. The total price of their kit including the padding after a 20% discount is $322, so a significant price difference.
I really cannot get a sense of the Willcox kit from their pictures to compare apples to apples with the Factory Interior kit, unless the difference is the mass backing on the carpet which is a $100 add on. Has anyone used the Willcox carpet kits?

I bought my ACC carpet from Rock Auto. I skipped the mass backing option but I paid extra for the Essex (thicker more plush) option. Do some research on ACC's website before ordering.

Before you buy these kits check out Rock Auto .com your going to be surprise, I was.
Al Knock carpet is better quality. If you held a piece of each to a light you would see what I mean. I used ACC and I am a bit disappointed. I did buy from Willcox. If I was to do it again I would go with Al Knock.
I ordered a carpet kit from Willcox last year for a 79. It went in so perfect it didn't need glue and VERY little trimming. In the end I had a small pile of trimmed carpet pieces the could fit in the palm of one hand.
