yup ... for longer case, longer pole shoes, longer armature ... sometimes "BBC" starter
So long as it's a Not Correctly Restored Stingray, I'd forget those heavy anchors and go for more modern that're more powerful & less than 1/2 the above's weight.

That's the spacer you find on the higher torque starter motor.

This for Marine Mercruiser w/ GM V8 with small flywheel / straight starter bolt pattern and has "R" terminal for points (disregard if no points)
