Been searching online for info about a transmission swap. Still cant find the answer, so thought I would post here. Trying to install a 400 Turbo into a Malibu that had a 350 Turbo in it. The 400 is from an early C-3. The Corvette Trans has a fixed yoke. Since the Malibu is a straight axle, I will need a slip yoke on the driveshaft for the 400. My question is what slip yoke is needed to make this change.? Can it be done, or is this Just a spare trans for a Corvette. Thanks.

Are you saying the Corvette yoke is bolted on? Mine wasn't. Will the old driveshaft still fit? All you need is a U-joint with the 1330 on one side & the 1310 on the other (or whichever one it is, you get the picture) Driveshaft shop can help you out.

Thanks for the help guys. Yes the 400 trans yoke is bolted to the shaft. If I remove the bolt, I would assume the yoke would slip. Problem solved? Can't be that easy.
. As far as drive shaft length, your guess is as good as mine. The turbo 400 length looks damn close to the 350 but have not measured yet. Figured a trip to a driveline shop would be in the works, but that would be my last on my list. Wanted to make sure the trans I have will work for this project.

I think you are trying to mate a turbo-400 output yoke to a m-21/turbo350 driveshaft? If so....
Here are the part numbers that I used to mate my Richmond ROD 6-speed to the regular M-21 driveshaft. Part numbers are from 1998 but I'm sure you can find a cross reference.TH400 32-spline slip yoke GM part number 3930827 - was about 100 bucks in 1998 at corvette specialty store sale.
--came with 2 brackets and 2 bolts--had to buy another strap and bolts since 2 bolts were missing, ~4 bucks at a GM dealer. https://www.corvettecentral.com/c3-6...27%26count%3d9
Conversion/Adapter U-joint Spicer 5-134x or TRW 20056 (Part number on receipt is PRJ-20056) - was about 20 bucks in 1998 at local speed shop.
I just looked around and you can get that yoke for ~130 bucks at corvette central and the u-joint is available several places for 15-20 bucks. You might be able to find better prices...I just did a quick check.
..... then it'll all bolt together.
