I'm currently working on fishing out the factory wiring. To replace the incorrect 69 kickdown harness someone has installed. (single wire vs 2 wire) what would really help is if someone with a 71 with the factory kickdown/tcs wiring could post some pictures of the connector going to the fuseblock,and the relay i'm seeing in my schematics that mounts on the drivers side of the firewall.
did you check the gas pedal, there is a switch on it that goes up and down when you press the gas.the engine wire harness has the wires that go threw the firewall to the pedal
