Default drag link replacement question

Hi Guys,

I spent waaaaay too much time removing my power steering control valve to find that the drag link threads are completely trashed. Clearly someone had left the bolt in when it was removed before and then put the valve back on the same link.

Question is, does the slave cylinder stud use the same boot as the tie rod ends or is there a different part number for that boot? I haven't found one with any search strings.

Thanks,

Steve

DIfferent. I just finished removing, cleaning, regreasing, reinstalling all of the power steering linkages on my car and got a good look at all of the boots. The tie rod ball joints use a larger boot than the hydraulic piston stud which is witches hat looking. I couldn't find just a replacement boot for you, but here's a Gates 350490 cylinder rebuild kit that includes the boot:

Thanks, hopefully that kit will show up soon so I can be rebuilding that while I wait for the other parts to show up!
