horn contact brush failure
Spring is is broken but embedded in the the signal switch
copper contact brush is worn to a nub preventing the proper ground with cam
the horn on my 68 (standard steering column) began to work intermittently and then not at all. I checked the horns and horn relay and both worked when 12 volts was applied so I looked at the horn contact in the signal switch ( see pictures). The copper horn contact brush was worn to a nub and the spring was broken yet embedded in the relay signal switch. Is there a way to replace these 2 parts without getting a new signal switch harness? Thanks for your input.
