Power antenna issues
I’m on my second replacement power antenna in my 1980. Installed and was working fine and suddenly quit in the Down position like the first one. Courtesy lights are still working so isn’t fuse. Could it be excessive voltage causing motor to fail or something else. I’m at a total loss. Relay is activating. Any advice greatly appreciated

This is what happened to the first antenna. Obviously a short or power surge from somewhere. Other antenna is working today but I’m afraid same thing will happen if I don’t find the cause. Any suggestions?
