Help. Hood won’t pop.
1982 CE.
pull hood release. Driver side releases but passenger side will not release.
any suggestions to manually release while closed?

Sounds like the cross cable that runs from the left latch to the right latch is bad. Look inside the wiper trough, there is a plastic plug that can be pushed out, then insert a screwdriver or similar tool to trip the latch. There will be a plug for right and left, sounds like you can trip the left with the hood release, but will have to manually trip the right side.
