Default 68 Wiper Arms

Hello,
Newbie here. I bought a set of "correct" wiper arms for my 68 convertible. The car did not have any arms or motor when I traded for it. Trying to figure out which arm goes on which side. The two arms have a bend in them in different spots. One is close to the wiper end, and the other has the bend close to the end that connects to the spindle. Anyone have any pictures? I've got the factory assembly manual, and the dealer service manuals, but cannot find anything that shows the correct placement. I'm also seeing different instructions on which wiper is on the bottom or top. Sorry if this sounds stupid, but I don't want to have to put them on and off too many times. Real pita. Thanks for any guidance. Charlie

Not the best picture, but it shows how the position of the wiper arms on my 68 right after I bought it. Hope this helps.

You can go to a vendor website and search for wiper arms and it will have pictures you can use to compare. Or google 1968 C3 windshield wipers............images

Welcome aboard. You need to buy a 68 AIM it's hard to navigate but it has good info. In there is the wiper arm sweep and placement measurements and it says to adjust the sweep with the windshield wet so it parks properly. The wiper arms have a screw at the midpoint angle that helps with alignment

Thanks for the input. It's really appreciated. I have the AIM, but it doesn't show the arms in detail. I also did extensive searching of vendor web sites and googled every search term I could think of, before I posted the question on here. As busy as this forum is, I'm really surprised that no one has a definitive answer to my question. I'll keep searching........

Sorrry I thought the picture answered your question. The arms point down at the bend, there only one way they can go on and still park. I’ll post a pic of mine tonight if you don’t figure it out

Thanks Rescue Rogers. Your explanation really helped. I look forward to seeing your pics. I wasn't expecting the blades to being at such weird angles in the park position.

This may or may not help but the wiper motor is controlled through its ground not the positive wire. When I installed mine I couldn't get it working even though I looked at the wiring diagram.
FINALLY I paid attention and wired it properly. I believe only the '68 is done this way.
They wiper arms angle up with the blades horizontal, as mentioned they can only go on one way. Top picture is left side.

They park in a horizontal position
