Exhaust manifold bolt removal

Ok I’ve got the primaries loose and the manifold removed extremely easy..what’s this connection underneath the drovers side manifold just below plug wire heat shield?seems this wire was underneath the heat shield and popped out when I moved it..wire seems to go up into interior of car but not sure cause it’s wrapped with others

Thanks Lars..I have another questions about insulating wires and such from the heat..a lot of stuff seems to be very close to the new headers,mainly some plug wire ends and starter wires etc..should I wrap these with heat dissipation tape?if so is there anything good that can be bought locally?

A few companies sell header plugs. They are shorter and give more clearance.
Also DEI and Moroso make plug wire heat covers - they work.
I switched to Freez-off , works better than the others

I can say without a shadow of a doubt these T-Bar brackets supplied by Dougs headers to mount the side pipes are terrible..not nearly long enough to thread the washers and nut on..
