Starting Issues
I've tried no pre accelerator pumps; one pump; hold to the floor, or slowly depress as cranking. It really doesn't matter. It takes several cranks before firing. I have the Edelbrock heat spacer.
I can't tell if it's flooded, or dry because of boil off. Quick cold start from overnight, but no matter how long through the day, it won't start like that morning start.
Any ideas?
EDIT: IT'S A EDELBROCK AVS2

If its starts cold everyday then its holding fuel in the bowl and it isnt boiling off, and if it was hot enough to boil fuel then it wouldnt start in the morning or it would start from the power valve shot then die because of an empty bowl if there was any fuel in the power valve.
Since it happens all the time and its not electrical or and air issue it has to be fuel..You could eliminate the electrical issue by giving it a squirt of starter fluid after its been wormed up and parked for 10 minutes to see of thats the issue. It would fire right away unless it is flooded. If it does fire right away then the fuel just isnt getting into the throat for some reason like a small vapor lock.
You could have an issue with your power valve and when its hot it isnt giving that squirt to start it.
It could be boiling just enough or your floats are a hair too high so when its hot it floods out a little. The starting fluid would indicate this if it still hesitates to start. when you shut it down pull off the air cleaner and let is sit for 10 minutes or so, then look down the throat and see if theres a puddle in the bottom of the manifold. Or crank it a few times and just before you know its going to start, stop and pull a plug and see if its flooded on the plug tips.
THe fuel in the line could be heating up and expanding which would flood the bowl and maybe push past the needles....grab your fuel lines and see if they are really hot or look and see if they are laying on your engine anywhere that would heat them up enough to cause an issue
