Default AIR and installing headers

I want to install a set of headers but, not sure if I should use the AIR type or not. I'm also trying to keep it at a point that the next owner would not have to put much time in to get it back to orginal..

Can't make up my mind

I also was thinking about selling it to get a shark I could mod without thinking about these things..

What do you guys think???

What kind of smog laws do ya have there?? :smash:

I had to get the ones with AIR because of the CA laws. Even though my car is a '76 :smash: ... I settled on the Hedman #68301 with coating.

Our smog laws are not too bad. I know the guy who inspects mine anyway. I don't know if my 78 would pass or not without the air pump on. If it was a visual inspection, mine would fail. The cats are gone :D I'm concerned about if I install the headers, I want to be able to put it back to the stock setup without too much trouble for me or the next owner.

I guess I have answered my own question. Go with the headers that have the AIR setup

The thought crossed my mind. I would only do it for a ZR1 :D
