1971 Corvette Blocking relay function
Found part number 2072624 relay . Blocking relay. What is the function of the blocking/ ac compressor relay.
Does the anti dieseling relay work in conjunction together. The ac compressor won't come on because my relay is bad. Anti dieseling is new.
The only way it works is to jumper tan and blue wire together on Anti dieseling relay.

There are older posts on this but on mine I didn't use either.
Some say to engage compressor at shut down and the blocking relay to not run blower.
Or...the anti diesel de-energizes the carb solenoid the the blocking relay prevents AC operation below a certain temp.

There are older posts on this but on mine I didn't use either.
Some say to engage compressor at shut down and the blocking relay to not run blower.

The old style blocking relay has 3 prong terminals.
Checked almost all mentioned sources, all have 4 Prongs..
