Power drain
Bought a '78 in April. Ran great as my daily driver until recently when gen light or inside lights wouldn't go off. Suggested install of new batt and alt didn't solve the problem. Where do I look now? :confused:

Your generator light won't go off and a battery replacement was suggested? Mmmmm, I think that the alternator should have been checked first. If your interior light won't go off, check the door switch. It may not be depressing enough to open the circuit.
As a last resort, don't hesitate to take er into an auto-electric shop. They troubleshoot drains every day and should find your problem.
