Considering that I am going to install a Holley Commander 950 system with a 900CFM TBI unit in January, that forum listed above will help me soooooooooo much.
It takes days/weeks to get anything from Holley in e-mail. With a Holley employee as a moderator, I will be set and hopefully will avert any disaster when I do the install.

I've come to realize that small street blowers like the B&M mega or the Weiand 177 cost the same as good 4 barrel type single plane injection units.

Bseery I agree, there's much good info at the other forum :yesnod: .

George I agree for HP the blower is the way to go for the $$$ :yesnod: . I'm just sick & tired of changing sparkplugs because of my inability of get the darn carb straight, along with mechanics that only know how to plug cars into a computer now-a-days :nonod: .

I dream of the day my car starts on those chilly mornings and idles smooth as glass (with a lope of course ;) ). Also the Stealth should make HP more efficently :) .

I have two Vettes (BBC and SBC) that use the Holley 950 Commander ECU.
Make absolutley sure you get the "Race Upgraded" ECu and Software. It is miles ahead of the street unit. The Stealth Ram has had some problems - and is down in the power department when compared to the regular Holley manifold

Its a good setup but if you intend to go forced induction then your @#$% I noticed that it only comes with 24#-30#-36# injectors. And if you wanna run a turbo or a s/c then you should really go with 42# injectors or you'll risk to max out the 36's and go lean (hole in the piston)

Frank the roller lifters just arrived and the misses suprisingly didn't say anything when she got them from the UPS guy. I keep telling myself, "must tread easy, must tread easy" . I don't want the waters to start boiling too quickly ;) .

Shawn how would I know if I'm getting the race upgraded ECU ? Do they offer different ECU's & software when ordering?

Darknes that is a good point. I plan on initially going with the 36# then I'll upgrade as needed ;) .

I haven't owned a carb with a choke on it in over 10 years. My Demons were really nice they weren't even designed for a choke so I didn't have to remove it! I can't even remember fouling a plug since I got rid of my 2 cycle dirt bike 12 years ago.

FI is nice and the near to perfect A/F ratio is a big plus. I think the self contianed units are much better than lap top one's

Gkull, choke recommendations from Nevada residents don't count

It's like 35 degrees in my garage right now. :(
