Default Back after 8 years

Wow Last visited this site 05/28/2012 @ 6:49 am.
I suffered a medical condition that has left my head thinking a bit different than it use to and my memory a bit to be desired. But its coming back thank the lord. I have a 73 that I was in the process of a frame off restoration. The body is back on the frame. I have (only installed) a 454 to replace the 350. The drive train is intact front to back. I have gutted the inside and looks like I was just starting to install a new dash wiring harness (looks like a fine time to loose my memory). Engine harness is also removed. Interior harness looks to be intact. The biggest problem I am seeing now is my camera that had all my pictures was laying on the firewall with 8 year old batteries. Guess what green and blue is ozzing out all over the camera including the memory card. Yep they gone been all over and nobody can retrieve pictures from the card. So I will be asking for a lot of help and maybe pictures if available. I am not looking for a numbers matching car. I am modernizing areas but do not want to get to radical. I have some pictures if I can figure out how to attach from my phone. I do remember there is a place to search for info. I do not remember how to do this. Help please. Boy o boy glad to be back. A bit intimidating looking at the status of my car and the status of my memory. We gonna pull up our bootstraps and give it our best shot. This car deserves to be on the road for others to see. Hope this makes since I have read and reread it. Thanks for any help.

Welcome back David, hope you can finish your project. Are you referring to the search feature on this forum? As far as pictures on your phone, you can email them to yourself and then save them in a pictures folder on your computer. I have an app on my computer that lets me access my Samsung smartphone, so that makes it easy. I'm sure there are members here that will be able to help you.

Welcome back Dave. I am in Temple Terrace which is about 30 miles west of Lakeland. If you get jammed up, contact me and I should be able to talk you through most issues. I also have a great "old school" mechanic that a number of C-2 and C-3 forum members in Tampa have used. Lastly, get organized and work on one subsection at a time. Take your time and enjoy yourself. Glad that you are back to tackling this project.
I have just finished dis-assembling my 72 BB. And just starting the rebuild.
I took lots of good pics to guide me with an SLR.
I will load them on my Google drive and give you the link.
Glad to help!!

Got to keep those BBs running. They will look even more like Dinosaurs in a few years in a world of electric cars!

Ok here's a link to my google drive pics:
https://drive.google.com/drive/folde...KG?usp=sharing

You should have access to them.
I loaded 300 pics of the interior and underhood as I was taking them apart.
If you download and save them, most are 7 meg hi res files you can zoom in on.

Let me know if they help.
And let me know if you need any others.

(It'll take another 30 min for them to all load.)
