Help! Tool size needed
I found the answer, T-50, in case you were also wondering.. But now I have a new problem... I stripped the torx "keyway" on P. side and need to get this off.. Options? 1. Drill and then easy out? 2. Screw it it's only the passenger side, hack the bugger off and get tie wraps for seat belts! 3. ???
Thanks,

Tie wraps are hard for the passanger to get out of so I would suggest a large piece of velcro instead.
There should be enough room to get a vise grips on the round head of the bolt. You will ruin the bolt but it is ruined already. They are locktighted in from the factory so it will take a lot of force to get it out. If you are unable to get it out that way and you have access to a welder I have had good luck with welding a standard hex nut on top if the head of the bolt and then use a regular socket to remove it. (make sure you cover everything on the interior from sparks)
