Default Waterpump labor rate

Can anyone "ballpark" how many hours labor for a water pump on a C3 (1978 L48?

Was just running it through my head before reading the last post. Pull the fan/ fan clutch. Lossen the alternator and aircon compressor, pull belts, stock fan shroud, a bit of a pain. Drain coolant, pull pump. Clean up block gasket surfaces, install pump, realign the alternator bracket. Install belts, fan/ fan clutch, fill coolant, burb the system to get the air out. SORRY. I'm thinking 2 hours

Thanks for the visual, but I am letting a shop do it. I got the right coolant I hope. From what I gathered here, Zerex G-05, 180 degree thermostat, and a Murray Water pump. It could just be the thermostat. I got home and the top hose blew in half after I shut the car off. Weird experience, got some in the face.

Hate to say it, but it could be just an old hose. And no I'm not up late. I'm an American living in Australia. Huge difference in time zones!

Note my upper rad hose. I've replaced the couplers a couple times over the years. This one has been on the car for well over 20 years.

Unless the car was overheating there is nothing in your description that indicates a new pump or thermostat is required.
