Default LT-1 1971 carb question

Hi guys,
I'm doing an overhaul of my Holley R4801 which is actually a 4150 derivate.

My question is about the spacer / gasket between the intake manifold and the carb.
I would say that the rounded edges' face is going upwards (against the carb) and the flat edges face is against the aluminium intake.
Sounds obvious, but better asking...

Thank you for your help.

The edges being rounded or sharp is completely coincidental to the manufacturing process. The gasket is not manufactured with the intent of being installed either way. The gasket, if correct, should match the bore size of the carb & manifold, making it irrelevant which way it is installed.

Ok Lars, thank you !
The "grilled" face or smooth face doesn't matter neither ?

There is no "top" or "bottom" designed or intended with that gasket.
