If you want to add 2 other speakers and wiring to the factory stereo radio you will need to purchase at minimum 4 of the correct F/M copper Pack-Con 1 crimp connectors used at the 2 radio connector housings.
Maybe you can find these locally but these are getting hard to find if you just want 4 or 5 of them, usually 25 or 50 is a min order.

I'm not sure what the immediately prior post is offering, but to add speakers to your stock radio system as I described, you don't need to do anything with the connections at the radio. Just follow the directions provided and you will get 8 ohm impedance with the two speakers (on each side) when wired in series mode.
If you scroll down (about 3/4 page) of link provided you will find the 70-82 Corvette 4x6 10 ohm speakers.
You can also correctly wire 4 10 ohm speakers on your Delco Stereo following the pattern on post 12. http://www.turnswitch.com/speakers.htm

No kickpanel speakers were installed after 1969; only dash speakers were in 1970-1977. But the space for the kickpanel speakers was still available. Just remove the side kick-panels and fit speakers in the openings. Some folks cut holes in the plastic kickpanels, but the '68/69 cars only had kickpanel speakers (no dash speakers) mounted behind those panels. The speakers can't be very deep, but they don't need to have big magnets if hooked to the stock Delco radio.
P.S. Those 10 ohm speakers offered by Corvette specialty shops are the same as the original speakers (total junk for decent sound), only they are 40 years newer. Two new, decent quality 4 ohm speakers connected in SERIES...4"x6" in dash; 4"x10" or 5"x7" behind floor kickpanels....would be the way to go for MUCH better sound quality.
