Not easy to do along side of the road but once you arrive home and until you source a new switch you can build and wire your wiper motor with a more permanent (temporary) jumper. Solider and shrink wrap the crimp connections.
If you connect both the Black/White & Lt.Blue wires to the connector housing your holding you will have Low Speed.
Pull the Black/White wire from the connector housing you will have high speed.
Never leave home without it...
Matter of fact I will change the male crimp connectors on this jumper to fit my 77 wiper harness and keep it with the other goodies that travel with me...
As was already said, "RAINEX'. Spelling uncertain. The first time you use it in a good rain, as you speed up it's like going into hyperspace. Be careful not to focus on the windshield!

BTW, I did run out to an auto supply store and found some RainX before I was able to actually get the whippers working. So thanks for the suggestion, I will use it as well.
