2 80 coupes
67 chevelle SS 396 4 speed
more stuff in the distance but the owner didn't want me going
any further and the dogs were getting wound up.
:cry :cry :cry
holy crap...i guess it's a good thing i didn't see those...or they all would have been in my back yard :chevy
there are no vette's here that are in junk yards. i don't think my heart could take the site of that (don't think my wallet could handle it either, heh)
bob, do the right thing...save the Vette's!!! ;) ;)
No matter how bad a shape, those cars are money going down the drain. If they are not restorable than they could be good donar cars. But out in the elements, they are trash going to ash. :nonod:  :U :(
Bob,
I take it this is in British Columbia? Souns like I need to take a trip out there and pick up my new '66 restoration project!!! (Gotta convince the wife first...and the bank that holds my mortgage, too, I suppose.) Seriously, how bad was that '66? Was it just rotted or was it banged up, too?
bob: what's the matter with the dang Canucks??? I'll take the '72 454 Roadster and give it companionship with my other two Vettes. Makes me wanna cry :(
I hear ya, often when I stop by 'Contemporary Corvette' in Bristol PA it's sad to see all these sad and mangled corvettes in all sorts of stages of damage and disrepair. Sad to think that at one time they were sleek, viberant, muscled machines. Now rendered near useless in a graveyard! :(
I don't get it.. Why do people keep them?? do they think that one day they will get off there lazy azz and restore them?? I have a real good friend in KY he has a bunch of old Mopar muscle just rotting around his barn. Most of the time he does not have 2 nickels to rub together and he has this one Road Runner I have been trying to buy it from him for 12 years he still won't get off it. I do not understand why people won't sell what they are never going to restore.
Well gee... You sure do paint a dreary dismal picture. (You didn't happen to snag the VIN number from that '70 for the registry did ya?) :D :p:
