I am building my 76 from the ground up. It had ac originally but I am upgrading from the factory to the r134. The guy I bought the car from included this canister of r12 he had. Does anybody know if this has any value? It feels about half full.

R12 is currently selling for anywhere from $15 - $90 per pound. If that's a 30-pound bottle that's half full, the R12 freon would be worth no less than a few hundred dollars.
Careful, a black shut off valve wasn't one way. Some used these tanks for recovery and air tanks.
Later tanks use a green one way non refillable valve.
Make sure its pure refrigerant.
Im certified, it was a test question.
